The Bill received Royal Assent on 8th April 2010 and brings changes to the Licensing Act and new powers to make early morning restriction orders.

55 Power to restrict sale and supply of alcohol
(1) The Licensing Act 2003 is amended as follows.
(2) In Part 9 (miscellaneous and supplementary), after section 172 there is inserted—“Early morning alcohol restriction orders”
